I enjoy my BavTech tool; it's more than just engine codes, it allows you to code in a new battery, read/check/clear airbag codes, access to the DSC/ABS/transmission/LCM module, run a veriety of vehicle tests, and of course, logging. It also allows you to make adjustments/resets to our CBO systems. I may be missing some stuff that it can access, but it's a useful tool. FYI, BT doesn't support coding a new battery for the M3. Yes I get oil temp and water temp via CAN to my AIM dash. Would love it if AIM could figure out how to make a channel of that (doubtful). I do have other redundant sensors that go directly to the dash- which is indicating I might have an oil thermostat not opening issue.
