Excel Greyed Out

Hello: I believe I used the inking function a few weeks ago when I first downloaded and tried word 2010, but today it is nowhere to be found! The help search is not at all helpful, at least for me. Would someone please help me out?

Where can I find detailed information about finding the inking function in word 2010 or please direct me to where to look. My Bamboo works fine in other applications, but when I open Office things, like OUtlook and Word, its not there. Use to be under the Review, I believe when I plugged the Bamboo in, but not now. Office 2010 Beta running on Windows 7 64 bit. Well, here it is some days later and over a hundred views.

I finally found the ink button in word and put it on the quick menu, but it is grayed out! How is it made active? Ink works fine on One Note, but I'm still trying to get it to work in word and Outlook.

Any recommendations, please? Thank you, Ms. I feel I am getting closer. The Start Inking button is now on the QAT in MS Word and Outlook; however, nothing happens when I click on it. It is not grayed out. It seems to me the tablet function is not associated with Office applications and that there must be something I have to do in Windows 7 to allow the association.

I continue to seek how to get Office to recognize that table (Bamboo tablet) is on the operating system. By the way all of the Bamboo Table feature run fine; outside of Office that is. Please help further. Clarence 12:35pm, June 12 Ms. Zhan, I am happy to inform your that the inking in Office 2010 is working fine on my machine. Your help is very much appreciated. As mentioned above, I found and entered the start inking button as you instructed.

After doing that, inking still did not work so I completely removed the Bamboo Tablet application from my machine and again installed it. I then opened MS Word 2010 and the inking function worked fine. Eventhough apparently something was not right with the original installation, the inking button was not easy to find for me. So, everything is well now, and I'll am gathering monies to eventually buy this Office 2010 application, but not certain which flavor I want at this time. Thank you for your help. Hello, Ms Zhan: I have Bamboo tablet installed.
